You’d think with a nickname like Beantown, Boston would be a great place for vegans – an oasis in a land inundated with omnivores. Not so, I’m sorry to say! Boston is not too terribly vegan-friendly. In fact, when taking a look at sites like peta.org you can’t help but notice that Boston never makes it to the top 10 list of most vegan and vegetarian friendly cities. It loses out to cities like Minneapolis, Austin, Atlanta, San Fran, New York and many others… And that’s where I come in!
To the veggie-mobile!
I won’t waste your time with details on my background of veganism – I’ll let you take a look at the About Me section for that – but I wanted to welcome you to my site. Here you’ll find some information on veganism – recommended reading, travel tips, recipes etc – and most importantly you’ll find some info on where to eat vegan food.
I admit, it’s not always easy finding vegan-friendly restaurants in Boston, but if you look for them you will discover lots of super yummy options.
